Vasilis Spanoulis - Next Generation Team Patras

Vasilis Spanoulis

Vasilis Spanoulis (born 7 August 1982) is a Greek former professional basketball player

who is widely considered one of the greatest European players of all time.

He is a Euroleague legend, with three Euroleague Championships (2009, 2012, 2013),

three Euroleague Final Four MVPs (2009, 2012, 2013) and one Euroleague MVP (2013).

He is also the EuroLeague all-time leading scorer. In addition to his Euroleague achievements,

he won seven Greek Champions (2005-06, 2006-07, 2008-09, 2009-10, 2011-12, 2014-15 and 2015-16),

one Intercontinental Cup (2013) and 4 Greek Cups (2006, 2008, 2009 and 2011).

He was a member of the Greek National Team, won the gold medal at the 2005 European Championship

and the silver medal at the 2006 World Championship.

He also played at the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games.

Germano D’Arcangeli - Stella Azzurra Rome

Germano D’Arcangeli

Germano D’Arcangeli has been covering the Stella Azzurra Serie B, Under 20
Excellence and Under 18 Excellence championships as a Head Coach.
Last year he led the team in the A2 Championship, where Stella made its debut for the first.

 

He is one of the most experienced coaches of the youth movement in Italy who is also well-
known around Europe. Thanks to his dedication and hard working skills, in 2018,

Stella’s under-18 team were the runners-up at the EuroLeague Basketball Next Generation Tournament,

losing to BC Lietuvos Rytas in the final.

learn powerful techniques to improve their form and maximize performance and endurance.

Bringing forth a personal background demonstrating powerful Coaching Skills and a commitment to the sport of Basketball.

– Assistant coach at U17 Fiba World Championships in 2016
– NBA European Ambassador since 2016
– Member of Fiba Players’ Commission since 2015

Adi Amos - Maccabi Tel Aviv

Adi Amos

This is the fifth season in our club and this is his first season as the coach of our U18 team.

In addition, Adi serves as a scout for the Israeli national team and as an assistant coach for the U20 team.

Adi is married to Hila and has three children.

Dimitris Tsaldaris - Olympiacos Piraeus

Dimitris Tsaldaris

Dimitris Tsaldaris is a former professional basketball player with career in Greece and Italy.

Since his retirement in 2018 is the Academy director and Head coach of Olympiacos B.C U18 team.

 

During the seasons 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 he was also the coach of Olympiacos B team in Greek A2 division.

He has a minor degree in Sports Management and current studies for Msc and MBA degree.

He is married and father of three children.

Andreas Meligdis - Promitheas Patras

Andreas Meligdis

Andreas Meligdis is the head coach of Promitheas U18 Basketball team. Born in 1975.

He graduated from the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science of Athens, specializing in Basketball.

Since 2010 he works as a basketball coach at Promitheas Academy.

The most important honors of his career as a head coach are the conquests of U16 National Championship (2019, 2021).

In the season 2021-22, he took over the U18 Promitheas Team.
